MSU Denver is deeply concerned about the impact of the Marshall and Middle Fork Fires on our community. For Roadrunners who have been directly impacted, we are here for you. Please review the below resources and campus support services and reach out to your advisor, manager, Human Resources with any questions or needs.

Student Emergency Fund: impacted students may apply for relief
Roadrunner Response Fund: impacted faculty, staff and alumni may apply for relief
Emergency Accommodations: The University has secured a limited number of hotel rooms at the SpringHill Suites Denver Downtown for current MSU Denver students, faculty or staff members who were forced to evacuate their homes. Please call 303-705-7300 if you are in need of emergency accommodations and be prepared to provide your MSU Denver ID number. Discounted room rates are available and MSU Denver may be able to assist with room rates for those who need financial support.

How you can help other Roadrunners:
Donate to the Roadrunner Response Fund: Donate to assist MSU Denver Alumni, faculty, staff and students who have been negatively impacted by natural disasters such as wildfires, flooding, etc.
Donate to the Student Emergency Fund: Donate to assist MSU Denver Alumni, faculty, staff and students who have been negatively impacted by natural disasters such as wildfires, flooding, etc.
How to help community members:
Donate items to Arc Thrift stores: To donate gently used items that can replace belongings lost in the fire, please visit your local arc Thrift Store.
Share your home: Through Airbnb, hosts can give people a temporary place to stay during emergencies, like a natural disaster, refugee crisis, or global pandemic.
